Coding classes in Nagpur

Learn to write real programs, starting from zero: C, C++, Python, Java or JavaScript. In a classroom in Dharampeth, live online or 1-on-1, with a free demo class first.

We have taught computer and IT courses in Dharampeth since 2000. 4.6 on Google from 1,600+ reviews.

#include <stdio.h> int main(void) {    printf("Hello, !\n");    return 0;}
#include <iostream> int main() {    std::cout << "Hello, !\n";    return 0;}
# This is a whole program.# Python says hello# in one line. print("Hello, !")
public class Hello {    public static void main(String[] args) {        System.out.println("Hello, !");    }}
// This is a whole program too.// It runs in every web browser. console.log("Hello, !");
<?php// PHP runs on the web server// and builds the page you see. echo "Hello, !";

C makes you spell out every step, which teaches how a computer really works. Most engineering, BCA and BSc syllabi begin with it. See the C course.

C++ adds object-oriented programming to C. Knowing C helps, but you can start here too. See the C++ course.

Python is easier to read and quick for building things: projects, data and AI. See the Python course.

Java asks you to write more, even for a small program. Our Java Full Stack course goes from core Java to Spring Boot and React. See the Java Full Stack course.

JavaScript is what makes a web page respond, and it leads on to React and Node.js. See the JavaScript course.

PHP runs on the web server and builds the page you see. Our course goes on to MySQL, Laravel and REST APIs. See the PHP course.

Which language should you learn first?

It depends on what you want to do. Find the line that sounds like you and begin at its first stop. Each stop links to its course.

  • You have just finished 12th

    1. Foundation Program
    2. A specialisation in college

    C, C++, Python, GitHub and AI tools in about 8 weeks, before college begins. Data, full stack, cloud or security can wait until your second or third year.

  • You study engineering, BCA or MCA, and campus coding rounds are ahead

    1. C
    2. C++
    3. Data Structures

    Or take all three together: the C, C++ and DSA course, 5 to 6 months, starting from zero.

  • You want to build websites and web apps

    1. HTML
    2. CSS
    3. JavaScript
    4. MERN Stack

    MERN Stack also starts from zero and runs 4 to 5 months, so you can go straight to it. Other ways to build the server side: PHP and .NET.

  • You want to build applications in Python

    1. Python
    2. Python Full Stack

    Python takes 3 to 4 months. Python Full Stack goes on to web apps with Flask and FastAPI, usually in 4 to 6 months, and you can start it from zero too.

  • You want to build applications in Java

    1. Java Full Stack
    2. Oracle Java certification

    Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and React over 5 months, with live projects. The Oracle exam, 1Z0-831, is a separate next step.

  • You want to work with data or AI

    1. Python
    2. SQL
    3. Data Science

    Data Science is not for complete beginners: first be able to write a loop, a function and an if-statement. The Data Analyst course is another way in, and starts from the basics.

  • You would rather not write code

    Many IT jobs need little or no programming. There is no order here: choose the one that suits the work you want.

From Unisoft Honest Talks, episode 4

The language matters less than the logic

Jo language hai, woh matter nahi karti hai … Jo important hai, woh logic building.

“The language does not matter … What matters is logic building.” (translated)

Shruti, a third-year computer engineering student, when Pratigya Thakur, Unisoft’s founder, asks what she would tell first-year and second-year students.

Questions people ask

How do I start coding from zero?

Pick one language and one goal, then practise a little every day. Most of our coding classes start from the basics, so C, Python, Java, HTML and JavaScript need no earlier experience. Call or WhatsApp us, tell us what you want to do, and we will suggest where to begin.

Which programming language should I learn first?

It depends on what you want to do. If your college syllabus starts with C, as most engineering, BCA and BSc syllabi do, begin with C. For projects, data and AI, begin with Python, which is easier to read. For websites, begin with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We also compare Java and Python for freshers.

Which are the best coding classes in Nagpur?

Every institute will say its own, and that includes us, so check for yourself. Find out who will teach you, and meet them. Read the syllabus before you pay. Sit in a demo class. Ask what you will build, and what placement means in writing. You can do all of this at Unisoft, and you can read our Google reviews yourself.

Can I join without a computer science background?

Yes, for most coding classes. Freshers, graduates, working professionals and career switchers all join, including graduates from B.Com, BA and other non-IT streams. A few courses build on others: Data Structures needs C or C++, and React needs JavaScript.

How long do coding classes take?

It depends on the course: about 8 weeks for the Foundation Program, 3 to 4 months for Python, 5 months for Java Full Stack, and 5 to 6 months for C, C++ and DSA together. Most batches meet for about 2 hours a day. The table above lists each course.

Where in Nagpur are the classes?

At our centre in Dharampeth: 2nd Floor, Prananand Building, West High Court Road, above Anand Bhandar, opposite Dress Code. If that is too far, you can attend live online classes from home. Get directions.

When does the next batch start?

New batches start every month for most courses. WhatsApp us the course name and we will send you the next date and timings.

Do I need my own laptop?

Not for classroom batches: you can use the lab computers at our Dharampeth centre during class. For live online classes you need your own computer and a stable internet connection.

What are the fees for coding classes?

It depends on the course and the track you choose: a single skill costs less than a full career program. WhatsApp us the course name and a counsellor will send you the current fee, the instalment options and the next batch dates. When you compare institutes, compare what each fee includes, not just the number.

Do these coding classes come with placement?

They come with placement assistance: resume and LinkedIn help, aptitude preparation, mock interviews and interview opportunities. It is not a job guarantee, and be wary of anyone who offers one: the hiring decision is the company’s. Hear it from a student.

Ask for a free demo class

Leave your number and a counsellor will call you. Here is what happens next.

  1. We ask what you have studied and what you want to do.
  2. We suggest where to begin, and tell you the next batch and the fee.
  3. You come to a free demo class and meet your trainer, before you decide.
