Module-Wise Syllabus — 8 Modules, 8 Weeks.

One module per week. Every module ends with a graded lab you submit, not a quiz you forget. Search the syllabus below.

What AI actually is, what it is not, and why it confidently gets things wrong. This module exists so that everything after it is used with judgement rather than faith.

Introduction to AI, machine learning and generative AI
How a large language model predicts text — in plain English
Tokens, context windows and why long chats drift
Introduction to ChatGPT: interface, chats, projects, memory
Why AI hallucinates, and which tasks are highest risk
The 3-step verification habit: source, cross-tool, consistency
AI applications across business functions in India
Data privacy at work — what you must never paste into AI
AI ethics, bias, copyright and disclosure norms
Free vs paid tiers — what actually changes
Lab 1 — Run the same business question through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Document where the three disagree, verify which is right, and write a one-page note on what that tells you about trusting AI output.

The core skill of the course. Named, teachable frameworks — not "tips and tricks" — so that you can rebuild a good prompt from scratch on any tool, any day.

Anatomy of a prompt: role, task, context, format, constraints
The R-T-F framework (Role, Task, Format)
The C-R-I-S-P-E framework for complex briefs
Role-based prompting and persona design
Zero-shot, one-shot and few-shot prompting with examples
Chain-of-thought and step-by-step reasoning prompts
Output formatting: tables, JSON, bullet structure, word limits
Negative prompting and constraint setting
Iteration: how to fix a bad answer instead of restarting
Prompt evaluation — comparing two prompts objectively
Custom instructions and system prompts in ChatGPT and Gemini
Building and organising your personal prompt library
Lab 2 — Take one weak prompt and improve it through five documented iterations, scoring each output against a rubric. Submit the before/after pair plus the first 10 entries of your prompt library.

Six assistants that behave differently. The point is not to learn six interfaces — it is to know which one to open for which job.

ChatGPT: projects, custom instructions, file analysis, canvas
Google Gemini: Workspace integration, Gmail and Docs assistance
Claude: long documents, careful writing, artifact outputs
Microsoft Copilot: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
Perplexity AI: cited research, focus modes, source quality
Gemini Notebook: grounding AI in your own PDFs and notes
Gemini Notebook audio overviews and study guides
Choosing the right tool for the task — a decision table
Moving context between tools without losing it
Mobile and voice workflows for on-the-go work
Lab 3 — Upload a real 20+ page document to Gemini Notebook, produce a grounded summary with citations, then answer five questions from it and verify each answer against the source pages.

The module that pays for the course. Everything here is a task someone in your office does every single day, done faster and better.

Email drafting: cold, follow-up, escalation, apology, refusal
Tone control — formal, warm, firm, and matching your own voice
Report writing: structure, executive summary, findings, actions
Presentation creation with Copilot in PowerPoint and Canva AI
Slide design principles AI still gets wrong
Meeting summaries, minutes and action-item extraction
Standard operating procedures and policy documents
Resume rewriting with AI — and why generic AI resumes fail
LinkedIn headline, About section and post optimisation
A final self-review checklist before you press send
Lab 4 — Produce a complete business communication pack: three emails, one two-page report, one 10-slide deck and a set of meeting minutes — all from a single supplied brief, all fact-checked.

From a blank calendar to two weeks of scheduled content, with the copy, the creatives and the ad variants — plus the judgement to know which ones are worth publishing.

Audience and brand-voice briefs the AI can actually follow
Social media content: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X
Building a two-week content calendar in one sitting
Blog and article creation with an SEO outline first
Keyword research and search-intent prompts
Ad copy generation and A/B variant testing
Canva AI: Magic Write, Magic Design, Magic Media, brand kits
AI images with Canva Magic Media and image-prompt structure
Video and reel scripts, hooks and captions
Where AI content gets flagged, and how to keep it human
Lab 5 — Build a two-week content calendar for a real local business: 14 posts with copy, 5 Canva creatives, 3 ad-copy variants and one 800-word blog article with an SEO outline.

AI is fastest at reading data and slowest at being right about it. This module teaches both halves — the speed and the scepticism.

Copilot in Excel: analysis, Flash Fill, natural-language formulas
Cleaning a messy sheet by describing the problem
Explaining a complex formula, and debugging it with AI
Pivot tables and summarisation prompts
Data interpretation: turning a chart into a business statement
Spotting when AI has miscounted, misread or invented a figure
Business reporting: MIS summaries and variance commentary
Basic Power BI: loading data and building a report page
Power BI with Copilot: asking a dataset questions in English
Writing the "so what" — the sentence AI cannot write for you
Lab 6 — Take a supplied messy sales dataset. Clean it with Excel AI, analyse it, build one Power BI page, and write a 200-word business interpretation with three recommendations you can defend.

The difference between using AI and building something that does the work for you. By the end of this week you own an assistant you built, not just a chat history.

What an AI workflow is: trigger, steps, AI step, action
Mapping a repetitive task before you automate it
Turning a repeated task into a reusable, documented prompt
ChatGPT Projects and Claude Projects for persistent context
Where no-code automation platforms fit — an honest overview
Building a Custom GPT: instructions, knowledge files, behaviour
Building a Gemini Gem for a recurring task
Introduction to AI agents — what they can and cannot do yet
Human-in-the-loop: where a person must stay in the chain
Testing your assistant, and knowing when to stop trusting it
Lab 7 — Build one Custom GPT and one Gemini Gem for a job you personally repeat, each with its own instructions and knowledge files. Demonstrate both live, hand over the workflow map they replace, and show they still work a week later.

Everything from weeks 1–7 assembled into one project you can put in front of an interviewer, and the material to talk about it credibly.

Choosing a capstone: real business or supplied case study
Scoping the problem before you open a single AI tool
Building the project: research, content, data, automation
Documenting your prompts and your verification steps
Measuring the result: time saved, output produced, quality
Portfolio creation — presenting AI work without overclaiming
AI-assisted resume tailored to a specific job description
LinkedIn profile rebuild and a 30-day posting plan
Interview preparation: answering "how do you use AI at work?"
Staying current — how to keep up after the course ends
Capstone — One documented AI project for a real or simulated business, reviewed against a published rubric: task fit, prompt quality, verification of claims, business usefulness and presentation. Passing the capstone is required for certification.

Your 8 Weeks, Week by Week.

Each week ends with something in your hands. By week 8 those pieces become a portfolio.

Week 1 · Module 1

Understand the machine before you trust it

Generative AI explained without jargon, the ChatGPT interface end to end, and the two things most people never learn — why AI invents facts, and what company data must never go into a public tool.

You leave with: a verification checklist you will use all course

Week 2 · Module 2

Learn to write prompts that work every time

R-T-F, CRISPE, role prompting, few-shot examples and chain-of-thought — the named frameworks, then deliberate practice rewriting weak prompts into strong ones and measuring the difference.

You leave with: the first 10 prompts of your personal library

Week 3 · Module 3

Know which of the five assistants to open

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Perplexity side by side on the same tasks, plus Gemini Notebook for grounding answers in your own documents so the AI stops guessing.

You leave with: a tool-selection decision table

Week 4 · Module 4

Do a week of office work in an afternoon

Emails, reports, presentations, minutes and action items. Then your own resume and LinkedIn profile rebuilt properly — not the generic AI version recruiters have learned to spot.

You leave with: a full business communication pack

Week 5 · Module 5

Fill a content calendar and design the creatives

Brand voice briefs, social copy, blog articles with SEO outlines, ad variants, and Canva AI — Magic Write, Magic Design and Magic Media — for the visuals that go with them.

You leave with: a 2-week calendar for a real business

Week 6 · Module 6

Make data talk — and check what it says

Copilot inside Excel on a genuinely messy sheet, Power BI with Copilot, and the discipline of catching a number the AI got wrong before it reaches a manager.

You leave with: a cleaned dataset, a report page and a written interpretation

Week 7 · Module 7

Build an assistant that does the work for you

Map a task you repeat, then build your own Custom GPT and Gemini Gem to do it. An honest look at AI agents: what genuinely works today and what is still a demo.

You leave with: your own Custom GPT and Gemini Gem

Week 8 · Module 8

Assemble the capstone and get interview-ready

One documented project reviewed against the rubric, a portfolio that presents AI work without overclaiming, and preparation for the question every interviewer now asks.

You leave with: capstone, portfolio, certificate

What You Will Actually Have Built.

Nine deliverables — eight weekly labs and one capstone. All of them go into your portfolio.

These are teaching targets for a 2-month program, not guarantees — depth depends on how much of the lab work you complete. Custom assistants and Power BI are deliberately shown lower: they are introduced properly here and go deeper in our Power BI and Data Analytics programs.

Why Learn AI at Unisoft Technologies.

Nagpur's IT training institute since September 2000 — 80,000+ students trained across 25 years.

Graded labs, not passive demos

Every module ends with a lab you submit and a trainer marks. You are assessed on whether you verified your claims, not only on whether the output reads well.

AI safety taught as a work skill

A documented rule set for what company data must never enter a public AI tool, and a verification habit for catching fabricated facts before they reach a client.

₹0 in subscriptions

Every lab is completable on free tiers. Where a paid plan unlocks something meaningful we say so and show the free path alongside it — nobody is blocked by a card.

Built for non-technical graduates

No coding is taught and none is required. Commerce, arts and management graduates routinely outperform here, because the work is writing, analysis and judgement.

Classroom in Dharampeth, or live online

Same trainers, same labs, same fee. Online batches are live and interactive — not recorded videos — so you can ask a question the moment your prompt fails.

A clear next step afterwards

Finish here and go deeper where it pays — Advanced Excel, Power BI, Data Analytics or Digital Marketing — with staff who know exactly what you already covered.

Short answer: choose this course if you want to be visibly better at your existing kind of work within two months without learning to program. Choose the technical route instead if your goal is to become a data scientist or ML engineer — in that case start with our Python and Data Analytics programs. Many students do this course first precisely because it is short, then continue.

Questions About the AI Course in Nagpur.

The things prospective students and their parents actually ask us on the phone.

What is the AI Tools and Prompt Engineering course at Unisoft Technologies Nagpur?

It is a 2-month (8-week) professional program that teaches you to do real work with AI. You learn how generative AI actually behaves, how to write prompts that produce usable output, and how to apply seven core AI tools to office, marketing, data and automation tasks. The course ends with a capstone project and a portfolio you can show at an interview. It is deliberately non-technical: no coding is taught or required.

What are the AI course fees in Nagpur at Unisoft Technologies?

The AI Tools and Prompt Engineering Professional course is ₹15,000 for the complete 2-month program. The fee covers all 8 modules, the downloadable course material, weekly hands-on labs, the capstone project review and the Certified AI Tools and Prompt Engineering Professional certificate. Classroom batches at Dharampeth and live online batches are priced the same. Instalment options are available for eligible students. Call +91 95030 05060 to confirm the current batch schedule.

Can a BCom, BBA or BA graduate join this AI course, or is it only for engineers?

Any graduate can join. The course was built for BBA, BCom, BA, BSc, BCA, MBA, MCom and engineering graduates alike, and commerce and arts students are among the strongest performers because most of the coursework is business writing, analysis and judgement rather than programming. The only real prerequisites are basic computer literacy and the ability to read and write English. Final-year students may also enrol.

Is prompt engineering a real job in India, and what salary can I expect?

Prompt engineer as a standalone job title is still rare in Indian cities outside Bangalore, Hyderabad and Gurugram, and we do not promise it. The realistic and far more common outcome is an AI-augmented role: content and marketing executives, MIS and business analysts, operations and automation associates, and support and pre-sales roles where AI fluency is now an expected skill. In Nagpur these typically start at ₹2.4 to ₹4.5 LPA for freshers, with AI fluency mainly improving how quickly you are shortlisted and how much you can deliver once hired. Dedicated prompt or AI specialist roles at product companies command ₹6 to ₹15 LPA but generally expect 2 or more years of prior domain experience.

How many AI tools does the course actually cover?

Seven, and they are covered in depth rather than twenty skimmed: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity AI, Gemini Notebook and Canva AI. Each one is used hands-on across several graded labs rather than demonstrated once and forgotten. You also learn the capabilities built inside them - Custom GPTs and Projects in ChatGPT, Gems in Gemini, Copilot working inside Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI, and Magic Write and Magic Media in Canva - but we do not pad the list by counting those as separate tools.

Do I need to know coding or Python to learn prompt engineering?

No. This course teaches no programming and requires none. Prompt engineering is written in plain English, and every tool in the syllabus is used through its normal interface. If you later want the developer route — calling AI models from Python, building applications on top of them — that is a separate path and our Python and Data Science courses are the right next step.

How is this different from watching free AI videos on YouTube?

Free videos show you what a tool can do. They do not tell you when the output is wrong, and that is the skill that matters at work. This course is built around graded labs on real business tasks, weekly feedback on your actual prompts, a verification discipline for checking AI output before you send it to a client or a manager, and a documented rule set for what company data must never be pasted into a public AI tool. You finish with a reviewed capstone and a prompt library you own, not a playlist you watched.

What will I actually build during the course?

Eight weekly deliverables and one capstone. Along the way you produce a personal prompt library of 40 or more tested prompts, a full business communication pack of emails, reports and meeting summaries, a 10-slide AI-generated presentation, a two-week social media content calendar with ad copy, an Excel and Power BI analysis with a written business interpretation, a workflow map of a task you repeat, and your own Custom GPT and Gemini Gem assistant. The capstone ties these into a single documented project for a real or simulated business.

How do you teach students to avoid AI hallucinations and wrong answers?

Verification is taught as a required step, not an optional one. Students learn why language models produce confident fabrications, which task types are highest risk — numbers, citations, legal and medical claims, and anything recent — and a three-step check of source, cross-tool comparison and internal consistency before any AI output leaves your hands. Every graded lab is marked on whether the claims were checked, not only on whether the writing reads well.

Are AI classes available online, or only classroom in Nagpur?

Both, at the same fee. Classroom batches run at our Dharampeth campus in Nagpur and online batches are fully live and interactive with the same trainers and the same lab reviews — not recorded videos. Weekday morning and evening batches run Monday to Friday, and weekend batches cover the identical syllabus for working professionals. Students outside Nagpur most often choose the online mode.

Which AI tools are free, and will I need to pay for subscriptions?

The course is designed to be completed entirely on free tiers. ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Canva all offer free plans sufficient for every lab in the syllabus, and Gemini Notebook is free outright. Where a paid tier unlocks something meaningful we say so in class and show the free alternative alongside it, so no student is ever blocked by a subscription.

What certificate do I receive and is there an exam?

You receive the Certified AI Tools and Prompt Engineering Professional certificate from Unisoft Technologies. It is earned rather than automatic: it requires at least 75 percent attendance, submission of the eight weekly labs, and a capstone project that passes the review rubric covering task fit, prompt quality, verification of claims and business usefulness. Students who complete the program also get resume, LinkedIn and interview preparation built around their capstone.
