This intensive course is intended candidates  who wish to migrate their skills onto the Red Hat Linux platform and who want a fast-track to prepare them for the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam. This course comprises three levels comprising of Red Hat Linux essentials, Red Hat Linux System Administration and Red Hat Linux Network & Security and  hands-on training on the RHCE certification lab exam.

This course provides the requisite knowledge for exam RH302GB (Red Hat Certified Engineer) which can be taken on day five of the course.

Course Description

This course is ideal for persons who have never used Linux or UNIX, and who have no priorcommand-line experience in any other operating system. You are taught the basics of a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environmentand it prepares you for your future role as a system administrator.

Prerequisites:

User-level experience with any computer system, use of mouse, use of menus, use of any graphical user interface.

 

Goal

Upon successful completion of this course, the delegate will be a Red Hat Enterprise Linux user productive in using and customizing a Red Hat Enterprise Linux system for common command line processes and desktop productivity roles.
